Steal Vessel (Resource Raid)
The Steal vessel is an optimized resource-extraction raider — maximum cargo capacity combined with enough speed to execute hit-and-run operations against lightly-defended planets. Unlike standard Frigates, Steal ships carry no weapons, dedicating all mass and power to cargo volume and drive systems.
Steal raids require a separate combat escort to clear the target’s defenses. Once the system is clear, Steal ships dock, extract the maximum available resources, and depart in a single tick. Against a defended system, they are useless. Against an undefended planet or one with a recently-suppressed defense, they are the most efficient resource-transfer tool in the game.

Visual Aesthetic
Steal ships are cargo bay with a drive section — the hull is almost entirely cargo volume, with docking clamps visible along the ventral surface and minimal structural reinforcement elsewhere. They look exactly like what they are: industrial haulers converted for theft.
